Power Functions in Practice PDF Print E-mail

Previously, I've discussed how to use Power Functions to their full potential, but sometimes seeing is believing. Well this weekend I was giving the opportunity to get some video of my Power Functions powered Allegheny steam engine flexing its' muscles.

It could have pulled more, a lot more, but I had to limit the number of cars and keep the speed down because the magnetic couplers couldn't handle the load.

I swear it could pull a Buick... hmm... I may have to test that.

  • Charles  - Magnets? Why bother?
If you are just testing the number of cars that can be pulled, use technic beams to connect the cars instead.

OMG...and I thought your stuff couldn;t get any more awesome. I just love the way the drive rods move so smoothly.

    Hi!
About the magnetpowerthing: Why shouldn't the Engine push the cars?

Keep trying with the Buick :)
