    Question for Jeramy - I may have run into a spot where these instructions are slightly above beginner level. Is there perhaps a not-shown step in which a non-Lego metal tube is placed over each axle? If so, do you have specs for those tubes? Is it exactly as per Cale's truck intruction - 4 studs long, 1/8" ?

    Yes, the axles are exactly as Cale's truck instruction. These were originally for a kit, so I had pre-assembled the axles and thus eliminated that step in the instructions. It really requires either the old style LEGO train wheels that snap to the axle, or some super glue to bond the axle to the wheel after sliding the tube over it.
