Alright, trying to post the crossing signals, just thought I might fish for suggestions on improving the design. I'm pretty happy with them, but I think they look a little "clunky" and out of scale. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I really like these.  I don't think they are any more out of scale than anything else in the minifig world.  When I first saw them in your gallery, I was wondering how easily they could be connected to motors and sensors so that they could be automated.

Thanks Elroy, but I have an alternate version in the works already(small changes). As for automateing, I'm not familiar with what would be needed, but I can say the technic part at the end of the arm hits the conical brick at the base when lifted preventing it from going completely vertical, so I suppose one of the two pieces would need to be removed to allow full range of movement.
