The New York Central, from roughly the mid 1940's to the early 1960's, used a striking grey on grey "lightning stripe" livery on their locomotives that MocPages user Rahkshi Poopi has captured very well in his LDD design for an EMD E8.
When I spotted this it was instantly recognizable. I had captured a photo of a similar unit a couple of years ago at the Danbury Railway Museum in Danbury, Connecticut.
The unit at Danbury is, if I remember correctly, an EMD E9, and a repaint, but you can see how well Rahkshi captured the prototype striping in his model.
