Back on tracks

I'm quite lazy and i'm not so easy at blogging. But this very nice scene by BS user "PrinceWilliamHK" is more than a very well done rendition of the famous Delorean-train-driven scene from Back To The Future III.

Back To The Future III

A perfect rendition because it represents a fifteen minutes movie scene in only one picture with details which made me smile - and I probably missed a bunch of them.

But what are these tracks? Large radius curve? And how are they linked to the ties? I have not yet experienced if they are sturdy enough, but they might awaken some interest among PFS-train fans. At least they are perfect for a static exhibition.
