Oh Shay Can You See - Part III

Kurt Baty has built his very first train MOCs, and they're quite the debut.  His first is a fully functional, fully track compatible, power functions Shay locomotive.

He accomplishes articulation by placing the points of articulation above the universal joints. Click on the above image for more pictures and video of the locomotive in action.

His second outing into trains is the first locomotive of the first railroad in Texas - a power functions six wheeler named the "General Sherman". Click on the above image for more pictures and more video.

On a personal note - Kurt is a fellow TexLUG member. With MOCs like these he's going to give me a run for my money.
